- Kovakka : 1 cup -
- Onion : 1 no -
- Mustard : 2 tsp -
- Coconut : 1 tsp -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- Chilly powder : 2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Oil : 1 tsp -
- Curry leaves : 1 spring -

Instructions
- Heat a pan add oil in it when it gets hot add mustard and wait till it gets splutters.
- Then add onion ,coconut and curry leaves to it. Stir for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
- Then cook kovakka using little water ,salt ,turmeric powder and chilly powder.
- When it gets cooked stir it well.
- Then add the onion matter to it.
- Stir well and keep for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
