Kovil Puli Sadham

Temple puli sadham has always made wonder to taste. It is divine and happy to prepare.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lemon Tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Red chilly
  • 1/4 tsp Hing
  • Salt As per taste
  • Roast & Grind
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Coriander seed
  • 6 Red chilly
  • 1 tbsp Channa dal
  • 2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Sesame seed

For Temper:

  • Soak tamarind and extract the juice and keep aside.
  • fry well except sesame seed and at last minute add sesame seed, turn off and allow to cool.
  • Make coarse powder and keep aside
  • In pan add oil temper all ingredients and when peanut and channa dal roast add red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Now add tamarind water and turmeric, hing, salt bring boil.
  • When raw smell goes out add grind powder and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Whenever need add more oil and turn off when oil comes out.
  • Now Puli sadham mixture is ready and can store in airtight container and use for 2 times.
  • Now add 4 tbsp of puli sadham mixture and mix gently and serve.
  • Now Kovil Puli sadham is ready.
