Lemon Chili chicken, A simple and delicious recipe for roast chicken marinated in lemon, chili and garlic. This quick meal is packed with tangy, lemon-infused heat, and is perfect for a fast weeknight dinner.

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • oil to Fry
  • Maida 3 tsp
  • Corn Flour 4 tsp
  • Garlic 15 no.
  • lemon 2 no.
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • soya sauce 1 tsp
  • green chili 5 no.
  • green capsicum 1/2 no.
  • any colour capsicum 1/2 no.
  • Ginger Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • colour powder 1 pinch


  • in a bowl add Corn flour, maida, salt, red chili powder, colour powder, ginger garlic paste, squeeze half lemon and oil
  • add chicken and mix well
  • chop the garlic, green chili, green capsicum and colour capsicum
  • heat the oil and fry the chicken
  • in a pan heat the oil and saute the green chili and garlic
  • add both capsicum and mix well
  • add soya sauce, squeeze remaining lemon, salt, and sugar and allow to cook for 2 minutes
  • now add fried chicken and mix well
  • allow to cook until the masala get mix well with chicken
  • lemon chili chicken is ready, garnish with chopped capsicum
