Ingredients
- Kayama rice - 1 kg
- Mackerel(ayala) - 3
- Chilly powder - 1 ½
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(to taste) -
- Tomato - 3
- green chilli - 5
- Onion - 3
- Ginger - 1 inch
- garlic - 1 clove
- Carrot - 1
- Majboos masala - 3 tsp
- Cardamom - 2
- Clove - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1 pc
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Sarvva sughandhi - 1 leaf
- Dry lemon(make a small hole in it) - 1 whole
- Salt(to taste) -
- Water(1/4th level higher than the rice level) -
- Oil(as required) -

Instructions
- Marinate the fish in chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry it in oil. Shred the flesh and remove the bones. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a bottom thick vessel and saute cinnamon stick, cardamom, cumin seeds and clove in it.
- Add onion and sautT well.
- Add 1 tsp chilly powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and mix well.
- Mix salt and majboos masala also with it.
- Mix in the shredded fish with the masala.
- Serve it hot with cucumber salad.
