- Cabbage(chopped, small) - 1/2 of
- Green peas(boiled) - 1 cup
- Potato(cut into cubes and boiled) - 1/2 cup
- Jaggery(crushed, Sharkara) - 1/2 tbsp
- Chick pea split(soaked in some water, Kadala parippu) - 2 tbsp
- Green chilies(chopped) - 2 nos
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Asafoetida(Kayam) - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves – 3 - 4 leaves
- Coconut( for garnishing, grated) - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(for garnishing, chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions
- For preparing Maharashtrian Kobichi Bhaji, first heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add green chillies, turmeric powder, asafoetida, curry leaves and soaked chick pea. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Cook the cabbage with a covered lid in medium flame for 7 minutes. Stir in between.
- Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.
- Typical Maharashtrian kobichi bhaji is ready. Serve hot with rotis.
