125g/1 cup All purpose flour (Maida)125g/1 cup Wheat flour2 tbsp Butter (melted)Salt (As reqd)Oil (As reqd for deep frying) For preparing malabar kannu pathiri, take a flat bottomed vessel and pour wheat flour and maida. Rub in butter and add required salt. Sprinkle sufficient luke warm water and make a stiff dough.Keep this dough aside for 30 minutes.Divide the dough into average sized balls and flatten these balls into thin rounds by sprinkling flour. Fold each side towards centre and deep fry the folded upward side first and then the bottom side.Repeat the same process with the remaining balls.Malabari kannu pathiri is ready and serve with any non vegetarian curry.
