2 cups Raw mango (sliced)3/4 cup Jaggery (Sharkkara)3 tsp Chilli powder1 tsp Asafoetida (Kaayam)Salt (As reqd)Oil1 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Mustard seeds1 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)5 nos Curry leaves Cut the raw mango into thin slices.Heat oil in the pan.Splutter mustard seed, black gram and curry leaves.Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida and fry till the raw smell goes.Add all the mango slices and fry. :- No need to add water. It should boil in oil.Finally, add jaggery and allow to get thick and stick with mango.Add 1 or 2 spoon of oil at the end.:- Serve with curd rice.:- If you use gingelly oil taste will be too good.
