Mee Goreng in tomato and sauces

  • 1 packet Chinese egg noodles Soaked in hot water for 20 minutes,rinsed with cold water and drained
  • 1 tbsp Garlic crushed
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1 no Onion medium size, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Cabbage sliced
  • 1 no Red chilly finely sliced
  • 1 no Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp Dark soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Chicken stock
  • Vegetable oil for cooking


  • Combine chili sauce, dark soy, sugar, pepper, salt, oyster sauce and tomato ketchup in a small bowl, stir to combine, and set aside.
  • Take a large wok (enough to hold the contents) and heat on high heat and add the oil.
  • Add garlic, sliced onion and stir till fragrant.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and toss to combine.
  • Gradually add in cabbage, noodles and stir fry continuously on high heat. :- if your wok is hot enough you will hear the sizzling sound.
  • Add chicken stock ,combined sauces and cook further stirring continuously till noodles turn almost dry.
  • :- Mee Goreng noodles is ready!!! :- Serve the Mee Goreng noodles on a warm plate with sauces. :- Enjoy eating Mee Goreng noodles!!
