2 cups Green gram dal/Moong dal (without skin)2 nos Green chilies (chopped)2 nos Dry red chilies2 tsp Ginger (chopped)Asafoetida powder (A pinch, Kayam)1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)Coriander leaves (chopped)Salt (As reqd)Oil (As reqd) For preparing moong dal pancakes, first take a bowl, add enough water and soak green gram dal in it overnight.Next day, drain out the water and grind with dry red chilies, green chilies, asafoetida and cumin seeds.Add water only if required to achieve a batter like consistency.Add ginger, coriander leaves and required salt.Heat a pan, smear with oil, and pour a ladle full of batter into the hot pan. With the ladle spread out the batter in a circular shape.Drizzle oil on the pancake and turn upside down.
