Mutton Liver Fry With Pepper is a very healthy dish, it contains B vitamins and especially vitamin B 12. This liver fry is very well illustrated in the recipe. Mutton liver should not be cooked more than 5 minutes. Liver cooks very fast and it can turn hard if it is cooked for more than 5 minutes. Enjoy the mutton liver pepper fry.

  • Add milk to mutton liver and keep it for 15 minutes to remove impurities, any bad smell and to tenderize the liver.
  • Heat a pan and add mutton liver, turmeric powder and chilly powder. Do not add salt, it will rubberize the liver. Mix well and add water.
  • Let it cook for 5 minutes in medium heat. It shouldnt be cooked more than 5 minutes. Liver needs only 5 mintues to cook. Let the water evaporate around 80%, need little gravy. Keep it aside.
  • Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and and add shallots and fry until translucent.
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and fry for few minutes until the raw smell of garlic goes away.
  • Add corriander powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt and saute nicely for few mintues.
  • Add the cooked mutton liver with gravy to it and mix well and fry for some around 5 minutes.
  • Add half teaspoon of cooconut oil, curry leaves, garam masala, pepper powder and fry for few minutes in low heat until the color of liver changes.
  • Serve Mutton Liver with Pepper hot with rice or porotta.
