- Mutton - 150 gm
- Mutton bones - 200 gm
- Bay leaves(Vazhana/Karuga ela) - 4
- Pepper corns - 20 gm
- Barley powder - 25 gm
- Onions(chopped) - 30 gm
- Carrots(chopped) - 50 gm
- Ginger(A small piece) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Pepper powder(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Sieve and place in another bowl.
- To the above soup, add barley powder and cook until the soup thickens.
- Add salt and pepper powder to taste, boiled mutton pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.
- :- Serve Mutton Soup - Goat Soup hot.

The mutton has to be boiled for 2 HOURS? Is it really “HOURS”?
Try garnishing with fresh coriander leaves before serving. It will make a remarkable change in taste. I have never used barley in soup earlier, and found it pretty good. Thanks.

Cook the mutton in pressure cooker. It makes quicker.

I tried this mutton soup in my house,it really tastes very good,me and my husband liked it very much.if we add ginger garlic paste &cumin powder to this mutton soup,it really tastes more better.
