This Mutton Varutharachathu Curry is without Coconut. This is a very Tasty and spicy mutton dish. To prepare the mutton Varutharachathu, most of the ingredients and sauteed well then grounded and cooked with mutton.

- Mutton - 1 kg
- Onion(sliced) - 2 nos
- Green chillies - 5 nos
- Garam masala(crushed) - 2 tsp
- Tomato(chopped) - 1 no
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Ginger(chopped) - 2 tsp
- garlic - 5 cloves
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric - 1 tsp
- Meat masala - 1 tbsp
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

- Heat a pan, pour oil and fry 1 onion, ginger, garlic, garam masala, chilly powder, coriander powder and meat masala.
- When color changes, remove from flame.
- Grind the mixture.
- Heat a pressure cooker and add oil. Add the ground paste and fry till it changes brown color.
- Add mutton and cook well with required water.
- Heat another pan, fry onion, green chillies, tomato and curry leaves.
- When mutton is done, pour the mutton with gravy to this and fry for 5 minutes.
- Mutton varutharachathu is ready.
