- Chicken - 1 kg
- Onion(sliced) - 3 nos
- Coconut(grated) - 1 1/2 cup
- Garam masala - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 piece
- garlic - 10 cloves
- Curry leaves - 1 cup
- Cloves(Grambu) - 2 nos
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 2 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 3 nos
- Pepper corns - 7 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds(Perumjeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing nadan thenga kozhi piralan, marinate chicken with turmeric, coriander, chilly powder, salt and little coconut oil.
- Cook chicken in covered pot.
- Do not add water.
- Crush it.
- Add chicken pieces in it and cook well.
- Add curry leaves and cover it. Cook in low flame.
- Fry the chicken well.
- Nadan thenga kozhi piralen is ready.
