Healthy curry with Vegetables and Whole Moong

Green gram
Cherupayar

Cabbage

Carrot
, Beans
finely chopped

Onion
thinly sliced

Green chillies
chopped

tsp
Turmeric powder

tsp
Chilly powder
2
tsp
Coriander powder
½
tsp
Pepper powder
Salt
As reqd
For seasoning:-
2
tbsp
Oil
1
tsp
Mustard seeds

Dry
red chillies
Kollamulaku
Curry leaves
A few
Instructions
Steam cook the vegetables(preferable a Idli steamer).
Cook whole
green gram
in about 2 cups of
water
.
When done, add all the powders along with the cooked vegetables and continue to cook, till done.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
and sautT dry
red chillies
and
curry leaves
.
Pour the above seasoning into the curry and mix well.
:- You can also pour a tsp of
ghee
on top for flavour.
:- Serve hot with chappathis or rotis.
