Sabudana Payasam Easy and different payasam with Sago (Sabudana) 100 gm Sago (Sabudana/Chowari)150 gm Sugar1 ltr Milk8 nos Cardamom (Elakka)Cashewnuts (A few)1½ tbsp Ghee Heat ghee in a pan or a kadai.Roast the sabudana in it.Boil 1/2 ltr of milk along with a little water.Add the roasted sabudana and cook, till it is done.Add the remaining milk and allow it to cook well.When the desired consistency is reached, add the powdered cardamom and stir well.Add sugar and mix well.Garnish with cashews roasted in ghee.:- Serve hot or chilled. Sabudana should be cooked max of 15mins..As it was already roasted it will get cooked sooner.It should be overcooked as the taste will be spoiled.
