- Red chili powder : 1 tsp -
- Salt : 1 tsp -
- Oil : 1 tsp -
- For batter: -
- roasted gram flour 1 cup -
- Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 tsp -
- Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Maida : 1 tsp -
- Corn flour : 1 tsp -
- Rice flour : 1 tsp -
- cumin seed 1 tsp -
- asfoetida 1 tsp -
- Oil to fry -

Instructions
- clean the milagai and cut in to 4 pieces
- apply the chili mix in the milagai
- apply for all the milagai
- in a bowl add roasted gram flour, salt, red chili powder, cumin seed, asofoetida, maida, corn flour
- make as a fine batter
- dip the milagai in the batter
- heat the oil in the pan and fry the milagai
- ooty milagai bajji is ready to serve. serve with hot tea or coffee
