Palak Aloo Biriyani

This is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Main. This yummy biriyani is a great thing for all diet lovers.

  • Heat oil in a biriyani handi and add cinnamon, cloves,bayleaves, cardamom and shahijeera.
  • Add chilli paste to this and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste,coriander leaves,mint leaves,onions and tomatoes.
  • Add palak,to this and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add fried potatoes to this and stir continuously.
  • Add yogurt and salt and turmeric powder to this and stir all together.
  • Saute this mix for 2 minutes.Cook in a slow flame.
  • Add little rice over potato masala .
  • Then add potato layer and fried onions layer.
  • Next add rice layer.
  • Next fry cashew and kissmiss keep it aside.
  • Put ghee , fried onions and fried cashew and kissmiss on the top of rice.
  • Put the lid and do not cook directly over flame.First put tawa on the flame then put the biriyani handi cook for 5 minutes in slow flame.
  • Now hot palak aloo biriyani is ready to serve.
