Paruppu Rasa Podi

This is a south indian special paruppu rasa podi. This is simple and aromatic powder.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2/ cup Toor dal
  • 1 cup Red chilly
  • 2 cup Coriander seed
  • 1/2 cup Jeera
  • 1/4 cup Pepper
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek
  • 5 strings Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Mustard

Instructions
 

  • In a pan, add toor dal then roast it and keep aside
  • In the same pan add red chilly then roast it and keep aside.
  • Add coriander seed then roast it well when aroma comes out, then transfer it
  • Likewise roast all other ingredients one by one and transfer in a plate.
  • Allow to cool and keep in sunlight for 1 hour.
  • Now grind it coarsely and transfer to other plate.
  • Now store in airtight container and use one or two spoons for rasam.
  • Now Paruppu rasa podi ready to use.
