Pearl Sago Uppma

this pearl sago uppma is easy and quick recipe. this is very good during fasting times. because we not cook fully.

  • 1 cup Pearl Sago
  • 1 1/2 cup Tamarind water
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 tblsp Coconut
  • 1 Green chili
  • 2 tsp Roasted Channa Dal
  • 1 tsp peanut powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 tsp Oil


  • Roast Pearl Sago and keep aside allow to cool
  • Coarsely Sago and Soak with Tamarind water and Turmeric and Add little salt
  • Grind Coconut, roasted channa dal, green chili and keep aside.
  • In pan Temper Mustard , urad dal and turn off and add asafoetida
  • In that pan add sago and Salt mix it well
  • Now add peanut powder and mix well and serve
  • Now Pearl Sago Uppma is ready.
