Pineapple Fry | Sweet and Spicy Pineapple

The Perfect Mix of Sweet, Spicy, and Tangy Flavours

Pineapple Fry is a delicious fusion of tropical sweetness and fiery Indian spices. Firstly, juicy pineapple slices are coated with a blend of red chilli and sugar, creating a sweet and spicy pineapple that’s irresistibly glossy and full of flavour. Secondly, each bite gives you the natural juiciness of pineapple combined with the light crunch of a caramelised coating — a perfect snack for spice lovers and fruit enthusiasts alike.

Why Pineapple Fry Stands Out

This Kerala-style pineapple fry is unique because it transforms a simple fruit into a spicy, caramel-sweet indulgence. When fried, the pineapple releases its tangy juices, balancing beautifully with the red chilli’s heat and the sugar’s golden glaze. The result? A snack that’s crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and bursting with sweet-spicy goodness. Whether served warm or chilled, this dish never fails to impress.

A Kerala-Inspired Sweet and Spicy Snack

Sweet and Spicy Pineapple is often seen in Kerala homes as a festive side, an evening snack, or even a dessert twist. The brilliant red colour and glossy finish make it look as tempting as it tastes. It pairs beautifully with traditional Kerala meals or can be served solo as a tropical treat. The aroma of caramelised pineapple with chilli is simply irresistible.

Serve It Your Way

Enjoy Pineapple Fry as a quick party snack, a side dish for biryani, or a fun fruit-based sweet. It’s healthy, vibrant, and full of tropical flavours. The balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy notes makes this dish a crowd favourite and a trending choice for food lovers across India.
