- Pineapple(cleaned and chopped) - 1 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Coconut(grated) - 1/2 cup
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 stem
- Green chilly(or as required) - 5 nos

- For preparing pineapple pachadi, first boil the chopped pineapple pieces along with turmeric powder, salt and little water for a few minutes.
- Make a paste of coconut, green chilly, cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
- Boil it for further 5 minutes and remove it from the stove. Decorate the dish with curry leaves and pineapple pieces as shown in the picture below.
- Pineapple pachadi can be served as a tasty side dish for lunch/dinner.
