Crispy prawn pakoda with a difference.

  • Remove the outer shell and heads from the prawns. Remove the intestinal tube on the dorsal side. Clean the prawns thoroughly and drain totally. Cut them into small pieces.
  • Except refined oil, add all the other ingredients into a wide bowl and mix thoroughly adding little water, if necessary.
  • Add the prawn pieces also and mix very well. Keep the mixture aside for marination.
  • Add refined oil to a deep bottomed frying pan and boil.
  • Reduce the flame to medium flame and add the dough mixture as pakodas to the boiling oil.
  • Fry the pakodas till golden brown and serve hot with hot and sweet tomato chilly sauce.
