Protein Vada Vadas made with Garbanzo beans(Kabuli kadala) and Soya chunks 2 cups Garbanzo beans (Kabuli kadala)10 - Soya chunks (Nutrela)1 no Onion (finely chopped, big)4 nos Green chillies (finely chopped)Coriander leaves (finely chopped)10 nos Curry leaves (finely chopped)2 nos Garlic pods (finely chopped)1/4" inch Ginger (finely chopped)orGinger (garlic paste - 1 tsp)Salt (As reqd)Oil for frying Soak garbanzo beans in water for 4 - 5 hours. Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15 mins.Grind together garbanzo beans and soya chunks with a little water to form a coarse mixture.Mix together the finely chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger and garlic.Add the ground mixture into it and mix well.Add salt and mix well again.Make small vadas off the mixture.Deep fry them in oil on a medium flame.:- Optionally, you can add 1/2 tsp of masala powder to the mixture too.
