Pour some water and boil the onions. When done, drain and cut into halves.For preparing marinade, place red chillies, garlic, basil, oregano, red wine and olive oil in a vessel. Toss well to combine.Add eggplant, onions, zucchini, red pepper, button mushrooms and cherry tomatoes to the marinade and combine well.Marinate the above ingredients at room temperature for 45 minutes.Drain the veggies and preserve the marinade.Thread the vegetables onto oiled skewers and cook in a preheated barbeque grill, basting occasionally with marinade on both sides, for 5 minutes.
