  • 250 g Rigatoni pasta
  • 125 g Pumpkin cut in cubes
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh chives chopped
  • 40 g Butter
  • Nutmeg A pinch, ground
  • 15 g Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper As reqd, ground


  • For preparing rigatoni pasta with pumpkin, first cook rigatoni pasta in boiling water as per packet directions. Drain well and keep aside.
  • Melt 40g butter in a large saucepan and cook pumpkin cubes over medium heat for 10 minutes or until tender.
  • Stir in nutmeg, chives, grated parmesan cheese, black pepper and cooked rigatoni into the pumpkin mixture. Toss well to combine.
  • Rigatoni pasta with pumpkin, a tasty nutritious dish is ready. Serve hot.
