Ingredients
- Chicken(cut into small pieces) - 2 lbs
- Onion(thinly sliced) - 2 nos
- Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Oil for deep frying -
For marination:-
- Onion - 1/4 cup
- Egg - 1 no
- Ginger - 3 tbsp
- garlic - 3 tbsp
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Lime juice - 2 tbsp
- Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 no
- Cloves(Grambu) - 3 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 3 nos
- Fennel seeds(Perinjeerakam) - 1 tbsp
- Pepper corns(Kurumulaku) - 1/2 tbsp
- Cornflour - 1/4 cup
- Ajinomotto(optional) - 1/4 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

For marination:-

Instructions
- Grind all the ingredients for marinade in the food processor until smooth.
- Pour this over the chicken pieces and let it marinate overnight or atleast 5 hrs.
- Heat up the oil in a pan.
- Fry the marinated chicken pieces in it till chicken turns golden brown.
- After all the chicken is fried, heat up the same pan with the remaining oil.
- Fry the thinly sliced onion, curry leaves and green chillies till crisp.
- Mix the chicken with the fried onion and curry leaves.
- :- Serve hot.
