Ingredients
- Rice - 250 gm
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 10 gm
- Curry leaves - 8-10 nos
- Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 20 gm
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 20 gm
- Red dry chillies(Kollamulaku) - 2-3 nos
- Ginger(finely chopped) - 1" piece
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 2 nos
- Onion(finely minced, large) - 1 no
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Peanuts(Nelakadala) - 10 gm
- Lemon juice - 1 no
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Boil the rice till it is tender, strain water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, Bengal gram, black gram and red dry chilly and stir well.
- When these turn a little brown in colour, add green chillies, chopped ginger, minced onions, peanuts and turmeric powder.
- Stir well and keep on flame for two minutes.
- Add pre-boiled rice, lemon juice and salt.
- Keep on flame for about 3-4 minutes.

Good one!A slight variation will b adding roasted cashews & garnishing with coriander leaves before serving.
