Nadan Thakkali Chutney

A

Nadan Thakkali Chutney is a lip smacking chutney that makes for an excellent side dish with rice, idli, dosa etc. This is a very popular South Indian side dish with a unique flavor and aroma. This is a spicy and tangy flavored chutney that can be easily prepared at home. There are many variations for preparing Nadan Thakkali Chutney, but this is the most easiest and tastiest of chutney preparations. What makes the dish unique and special is the mild tanginess combined with a spicy flavor. The chutney pairs extremely good with a lot of breakfast dishes. There is one unique ingredient that grants a distinct aroma and flavor to the chutney and that is ‘fenugreek seeds’. Just half a teaspoon is sufficient for that uniqueness and specialty. I am basically a great fan of chutneys, be it with coconut or without coconut.

Nadan Thakkali Chutney is a quick fix chutney without coconut and it means you are not required to defrost coconut and the like. Time and much effort is saved. Probably you can brand this as the easiest of dishes that required minimum ingredients. Tangy flavored Nadan Thakkali Chutney has become a great hit at my table. Even kids love the chutney. Of course you can reduce the spiciness of the chutney if kids are involved. Tomatoes are nutritious, rich in vital nutrients prepared for body. These rich and glistening reddish bundles are store houses of health. Tomatoes are a major source of antioxidant lycopene, that has been linked to major health benefits like reduced risk of cancer and heart diseases. Make it a point to purchase ripe, fresh and juicy tomatoes for the dish. Ripe ones taste great. You can explore a well detailed Nadan Thakkali Chutney here. Enjoy the chutney dish with your family and loved ones.
