5 tbsp Rava1/2 litre Milk1 cup Water3 powdered Cardamom5 tbsp Sugar ( according to your choice )Salt (a pinch)1 chopped Shallots6 each Cashew/ Raisins2 tbsp Ghee Roast the rava in a pan on low flame for one minute and keep it aside.Heat the milk in a saucepan along with water, salt and cardamom powder.When it starts to boil, add sugar and mix well. Then add the roasted rava slowly and stir well, and allows to boil. Switch off the flame.Heat ghee in a pan, add the chopped shallots and fry it. Then fry the cashews, raisins and pour this over the prepared Kanji.Thari Kachiyath / Thari Kanji is ready to serve. Serve hot. Kerala
