- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Black eyed bean - 1/4 cup
- Coconut slice - 2
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Salt(as per taste) -
- Hing/Asafoetida - 1 pinch
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard and urad dal - 1 tsp

- In pan add oil and temper mustard and urad dal
- Now add asafoetida and curry leaves
- Now add both coconut slice and boiled black eyed bean
- Now add salt and mix well
- Now add water 2 cups bring to boil
- Now add rice flour and mix well
- When it cooks 3/4 th and drained water turn off and allow to cool
- Now shape ball and flat and make small hole an keep aside
- Now steam for ten minutes. And serve with butter.
- Now it's uppu adai ready for neivediyam. It's divine
