Instructions
- Boil the potatoes and the yam.
- Mash them and keep aside.
- Grind together the garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt to a paste.
- Divide this mixture into equal portions.
- Grease a 1/4" thick wooden stick and wrap each of the portions evenly around the stick.
- Shape the seekh and gently slide off the needle.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- :- Serve hot.
