Ingredients
  

  • ¼ kg Potatoes
  • 125 gm Yam
  • 4 nos Garlic pods
  • 1" piece Ginger
  • 3 nos Green chilies
  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • Coriander leaves As reqd, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes and the yam.
  • Mash them and keep aside.
  • Grind together the garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt to a paste.
  • Mix together the above paste, lime juice, coriander leaves and the mashed potato-yam mixture.
  • Divide this mixture into equal portions.
  • Grease a 1/4" thick wooden stick and wrap each of the portions evenly around the stick.
  • Shape the seekh and gently slide off the needle.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • :- Serve hot.
