Whole chicken is marinated and roasted in oven

  • For preparing whole chicken roast, first clean the chicken inside and outside well.
  • Remove all the water from chicken well with a towel.
  • Prick the chicken with a knife or fork and place in an oven tray.
  • Season with required salt and pepper.
  • Combine butter, garlic, oregano and rosemary.
  • Now rub the chicken with butter mixture by hand.(if with skin, rub inside the skin also)
  • Rub on all parts including inside and outside.
  • Sprinkle paprika above well.
  • Transfer the chicken into a preheated oven 350 c.
  • Cook for 1 1/2 hour and turn the chicken other side and again cook for 1 1/2 hour again.
  • Check the chicken when done and transfer it to a plate.
  • Note: Can add vegetables with chicken like potato wedges, carrot and onion.
