Working Woman`s Rasam Rasam in a jiffy For grinding2 nos Ripe Tomato (large)1/4 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 tsp Fenugreek (Uluva)3 - Shallots (Kunjulli)4 nos Garlic podsGinger (A small piece)1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Chilli powder1 - Coriander powder1 tsp Pepper1/2 cup Tamarind water (Puli)Salt (As reqd)1/2 cup WaterFor temperingMustard seedsCurry leavesDry red chillies(Unakka mulaku)1 tsp Oil Put all the ingredients for grinding into a mixie and blend well.Heat a tsp of oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves and dry red chillies. Pour the tomato puree in the mixie and let it simmer for 5 min. Add more water if you want a thinner consistency. Kerala
