  • 6 nos Dry belt fish or Ribbon
  • 100 gm Rice powder
  • 50 gm Maida flour
  • 3 tbsp Red chilly powder
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Salt As reqd
  • 250 ml Oil


  • Clean and cut the belt fish, each into 4 - 5 pieces.
  • In a bowl, take maida, rice powder, red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  • Add water and prepare a thick batter.
  • Add dry fish pieces to the paste and marinate for 1/2 hour.
  • Add oil to frying pan, after heating deep fry the fish pieces until deep brown.
