250 gm Green gram without husk1 ltr Curd (not sour)1/2 cup Green chillies (chopped)1 tbsp Mustard seeds1 fistful Curry leaves1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 cup Coriander leaves250 ml OilSalt (As reqd)2 tbsp Ghee3 tbsp Ginger (finely chopped) Soak the green gram over night.Make it into a thick, some what hard dough. Add salt.Heat oil in a frying bowl.Make medium sized Vadas with the dough and fry them until brown.Put them in water for about 5 mins and squeeze each to remove as much water as possible. :- Do not squeeze too hard to split them waste.Beat the curd into lussy and add the vadas to it. Keep aside.Take a frying pan, put ghee in it and add mustard seeds, jeera, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger and splutter well.Add the above seasoning to the curd - vada bowl.Allow to become tender.
