- Aloo 1 cup -
- Red chilli 4 . -
- Garlic : 5 -
- small onion 3 to 4 . -
- coconut 2 to 3 pieces or1/4 cup -
- fennel seed 1/4 tsp -
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Oil : as required -

Instructions
- peel and cut the aloo into small cubes
- grind the red chilli, coconut, onion, garlic and fennel seeds and turmeric
- make a fine paste
- In a pan heat the oil and add aloo and mix
- now add salt and the paste and mix well
- allow to fry until the aloo and masala mixed well, if required add oil.
- now aloo fry is ready. serve with curd rice
