  • 115 gm Butter melted
  • 300 gm All purpose flour Maida
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon ground
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 115 gm Sugar
  • 4 nos Egg
  • 3 nos Golden Apples cored and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
  • Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Beat eggs and sugar until very thick. The beaters should make a ribbon trail when lifted.
  • Fold in the flour mixture one- third at a time.
  • Gently pour the melted butter into the cake mixture through the side of the bowl.
  • Add apples and nuts to the batter. Mix to combine. Add vanilla, mixing well until incorporated.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan, and bake 40 minutes until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven, and cool slightly on a wire rack.
  • Dust with icing sugar.
