- Onion - 1 no
- Green chillies(slit lengthwise) - 4 nos
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Ghee - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Pressure cook chopped onions, green chillies and dal, till the dal is cooked.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add the cooked ingredients.
- Stir for a little while.
- : - Or you can have it dry.
- Add a spoon of ghee to enhance taste.
- :- Just substitute small red beans for dal and another tasty and simple dish is on your table.
