Baked Asparagus-Shatwar-Thaneervittan Kilangu

  • 350 g Asparagus cooked, Shatavari
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup Bread crumps
  • 1/2 cup Cheese grated
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt As reqd


  • Boil asparagus in salt water for 2 minutes, drain and keep aside.
  • In a bowl mix corn flour with water and place bread crumps on other bowl.
  • Dip the asparagus in corn flour and roll on bread crumps and deep fry it in oil. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat butter in pan, add mixed vegetables, chopped garlic, pepper and salt. Add asparagus and stir it. Sprinkle cheese before serving.
