  • For preparing baked pomfret, clean, wash and make 3 or slits on fish.
  • Mix together salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Marinate the fish in this mixture and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Now grind all the other ingredients together: red chilly powder, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds powder, coriander power,oil, onion, tomato, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Spread evenly the ground masala over the fish.
  • Place the fish in an aluminium foil and wrap finely.
  • Cook the fish in a 400 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes or till done.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
