Banana-Chocolate Cake

  • 1 cup Allpurpose flour Maida
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 nos Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 sticks Unsalted butter 250 gm
  • 3 tbsp Orange juice
  • 4 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 4 small Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 2 nos Banana
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate milk
  • 1/2 cup Diced walnuts


  • Mix nicely maida, baking soda and baking powder.
  • Powder the cloves and cinnamon sticks well.
  • Melt the sugar with 1/8 cup of water in a pan and after putting off the fire, add butter to it.
  • Beat the eggs nicely.
  • Blend the banana and chocolate milk in a mixie.
  • When the sugar syrup is cool, add the maida mixture slowly and stir it nicely without lumps.
  • Add eggs and banana mix to that and stir nicely.
  • Finally, add the cloves-cinnamon powder, orange juice and diced walnuts.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 c.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased (grease with butter) baking pan and keep it in oven.
  • After 30 mins, lower the temp to 300 c.
  • After 25 mins, switch off the oven.
  • After 5 mins, your delicious cake will be ready.
  • Tips:- chocolate milk use hersheys 2%
