- Chicken legs cut in to pieces : 3 nos -
- Water : 1 cup -
- Worcestershire sauce : 2 tsp -
- White wine vinegar : 2 tsp -
- Brown sugar : 1/3 cup -
- Red pepper flakes or red chilli powder : 1 tsp -
- Freshly ground black pepper powder : ½ tsp -
- Large tomato pureed : 1 tsp -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- Salt : as reqd -
- Freshly ground black pepper : few -

Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients for the marinate in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

- Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 - 8 minutes or till it thickens and becomes a sauce.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.
- Marinate the chicken pieces in the prepared barbeque sauce and keep aside for 3 - 4 hours.
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan and cook the marinated chicken pieces on high heat till they turn golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer to a baking tray to finish cooking the chicken (approximately 5 minutes on each side).
- You can add a little water to the grill pan to remove the remaining marinate and pour it over the chicken pieces in the baking tray.
- When the chicken is cooked all the water will dry up.
- Serve with salad and garlic bread.
