Bitter Gourd Raita Raita with bitter gourd(Pavakka) 1/2 Bittergourd (Pavakka/Paval)4 tbsp Grated Coconut2 nos Green chillies1/2 cup Yoghurt/Curd (Thayiru)3/4 cup Buttermilk (Moru)Salt (As reqd)For seasoning: 2 tsp Coconut Oil2 nos Red chillies (Kollamulaku)1 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)1/2 tsp Mustard seeds Grate bittergourd.Add 1 tbsp of salt and keep it for 45 minutes. When it becomes watery, squeeze by hand and remove all water. Grind grated coconut and green chillies along with water. Mix yoghurt and buttermilk nicely. Add salt and set it aside.
