Ingredients
- Bittergourd(Pavakka/Paval) - 1/2
- Grated Coconut - 4 tbsp
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Yoghurt/curd(Thayiru) - 1/2 cup
- Buttermilk(Moru) - 3/4 cup
- Salt(As reqd) -
- For seasoning: -
- Coconut oil - 2 tsp
- Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 2 nos
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Grate bittergourd.
- Grind grated coconut and green chillies along with water.
- Mix yoghurt and buttermilk nicely.
- Add salt and set it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add the ingredients for seasoning one by one.
- Add squeezed bittergourd and fry in a low flame for 5-10 minutes.
- Allow it to cool.
- Add it to the prepared buttermilk.
