5 nos Bread slices10 nos Biscuits (Arrowroot preferred)1/2 litre Milk1 cup SugarCashew and pista for garnishingOil for deep frying1 tsp Ghee Deep fry the bread slices in oil and keep aside.Put the biscuits in mixie and grind it to a fine powder.Grind the fried bread slices too to a fine powder.Heat milk in a kadai.When it starts boiling, add sugar and stir finely.Boil for 10 mins.After that, add the powdered mixture of biscuits and bread and stir continously so that no lumps are found.When it comes to a halwa consistency, add ghee to it.Place it in a oil greased plate.Garnish with fried cashews and pista.Cut it into desired shape after it becomes cool.
