1 cup Basmathi Rice2 cups Coconut milk1 piece Cinnamon (Karugapatta)1 no Clove1 no Cardamom (Elakka)1 tsp Cumin seedsGinger (garlic paste - 1 tsp)1 no Onion1 no TomatoSalt (As reqd)2 tsp Ghee2 tsp Oil Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Add all the spices (cinnamom, cloves, cumin seeds cardamom).When it splutters, add ginger garlic paste and fry it.Add sliced onion and tomato and fry well.Add the washed rice and fry for few minutes.Add 2 cups of coconut milk and add salt to taste.Add 1 tsp of ghee.Pressure cook for 10 mins.Garnish the rice with coriander leaves.:- Serve hot with cucumber salad or onion raita and papads.
