Bread Jamun

  • 3 nos Bread slices each slices cut diagonally into 4 pieces
  • 1 cup Sugar 150 gm
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 no Cardamom Elakka
  • 2 tsp Condensed milk Milk maid
  • 2 - Almonds grated, Badam
  • 1 cup Refined oil or ghee


  • Cut each bread slices diagonally into 4 pieces.
  • Deep fry the cut slices of bread in oil till golden brown and keep it aside.
  • For sugar syrup, mix equal amount of sugar and water.
  • Heat the mixture until it reaches a syrup consistency.
  • Add cardamom as whole or powdered and switch off the flame.
  • Dip the fried bread slices into the hot syrup of sugar and keep it aside for few minutes(15 mins).
  • Take out the bread slices and transfer it into a serving plate and decorate each slices with condensed milk and grated badam.
  • :- Serve chilled.
