Bread Pongal

this is unique and my new try in pongal version. this bread pongal is lipmacking recipe. milk and bread generally good to taste .

  • 10 slices Bread
  • 1/ 4 cup Moong dal
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tblsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 string Curry leaves
  • 1 Green chili
  • 5 Cashew
  • 2 pinch Hing
  • Salt as taste


  • soak moong dal and cook for 10 minutes
  • Now add bread slices or bread crumb and mix with dal
  • Now add Milk and mix well. cook for 5 minutes
  • If you need some more milk add and stir well
  • in small pan add ghee and temper jeera, pepper, curry leaves, cashew green chili
  • Now pour season in pongal
  • Now its ready to serve Bread pongal
