Cabbage, chana dal and other ingredients are stir fried together

- Cabbage(chopped) - 1 cup
- Chana dal - 1/2 tbsp
- Urad dal(uzunuparippu) - 1 tsp
- Green chilly(slit) - 1 no
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) -
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Sugar(A pinch) -
- Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1/2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat oil splutter mustard seeds, chana dal, green chilly and asafoetida. Fry for few minutes.
- Add boiled cabbage, red chilly powder, coriander powder and cook covered for 3 minutes.
- Now, add salt, sugar and curry leaves.
- Fry the cabbage till brown in color. Garnish with coriander leaves.
