Ingredients
- Cabbage(nicely chopped) - 1 no
- Shallots(medium size) - 4 nos
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- green chilli - 3 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Salt(as reqd) -
- Oil - 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Splutter the mustard seeds and then add curry leaves.
- Add the chopped cabbage, salt and turmeric powder then sautT well (do not add water). Close the kadai with a lid.
- Take a mixer and add the coconut, shallots and green chillies. Just beat it. :- Don¦t make it as a paste, but make sure that the shallots and green chillies are shredded.
- Keep it in the low flame for another one minute and take it off
- Note:- Add urad dal with mustards, this will give a different taste to thoran.
